EMG - Electromyography

Making muscle activity visible

EMG – Visualizing and selectively influencing muscle activity

With our 4-channel EMG system from Noraxon, we visualize muscular activity in real time – during movement, under stress, and even in everyday life. EMG stands for electromyography – a modern, non-invasive method for measuring the electrical activity of your muscles.

EMG analysis goes far beyond a classic strength measurement: It shows us not only how hard your muscles are working, but also how precisely they are being controlled. This is particularly important in cases of chronic conditions or recurring injuries, where the body often compensates and overuses alternative muscles. This can lead to unfavorable movement patterns that delay the healing process – or cause new problems.

EMG measurements allow us to detect such abnormal patterns early on. And: We can directly influence them – through targeted therapeutic stimuli and biofeedback training.

You can see live on the screen how your muscles are working. You learn to consciously, understandably, and measurably activate, relax, or re-coordinate individual muscles.

Even in cases of recurring symptoms without a clear external cause, EMG provides crucial insights: for example, delayed activation, overactivation, or unstable control patterns. This allows us to develop individualized training strategies to improve your movement control and prevent relapses.

For you, this means:

  • Precise real-time analysis of muscle activity
  • Better understanding of your symptoms
  • More targeted therapy and exercise selection
  • Motivation through visible progress
