Nordic walking increases fitness and, in addition to the legs and bottom, also effectively trains the muscle groups of the upper body, improves mobility in the shoulder and neck area and promotes blood circulation. Contents include: technique training, warm-up, stretching, strengthening and coordination exercises.
The course is aimed at participants who would like to learn the Nordic walking technique and their own training planning skills for individually planned moderate endurance training to prevent cardiovascular diseases. It is also aimed at people who already have Nordic walking experience and want to improve or deepen their technique.
People with special risks in the area of the cardiovascular system who want to learn a life-time sport (Nordic walking as moderate endurance training), but also healthy adults who want to improve their physical fitness through moderate endurance training in order to avoid certain illnesses (e.g. cardiovascular diseases) to prevent it.
